Music for Max
Music for Max is a recurring charity concert produced by Karla Livingstone-Pardy and Bridget Bovezza in collaboration with Artists for Kids Culture. It is held in honour of their late friend Max Lee-Ack
Max died by suicide in 2021, and this event celebrates his life and aims to create positive avenues of expression and creativity for young people. At its core is the belief that community support is a viable and important form of suicide prevention.
The inaugural Music for Max gig was held in March 2022 and raised over $18,000 to fund scholarships and mentoring for young people in the Western suburbs of Melbourne.
Partnerships include: Artists for Kids Culture, Lonely Lands Agency, The Gaso, Hotel Westwood, and numerous other local businesses.
